I think my best artwork this semester was the cow and barn one. I think this because I spent the most time on it and it looks the cleanest. I used a lot of mixtures and used a new way of painting creating clouds and it just looks neat with the lines. I would like to redo my first artwork with the llama vase. I think this because I didn't know how to make shadows or tints very well and it doesn't blend very good when i tried. Something I have learned is to get on top of things i know my last artwork would have been better if I used time outside of the school day I may have been more happy with my work much like other classes rushed work is not ever your best. I wish we could have used different kinds of paint or mix two kinds to add more texture or just to make it more creative.

my art work is on three canvases of the same llama in the center. One of my paintings I used warm colors reds and oranges for the background and yellow for the llama. Then I used cool colors purples blues and greens with a light purple for the llama. The last one is blacks and greys for the background and a white llama. I used thick sideways stripes to the background to make the different colored background. I created my artwork mixing colors and making different shades so the artworks would flow with acrylic paint. My bif idea was to incorporate my love for llamas and using the method of making shades by mixing colors. My goals were to work more on how to make lighter or darker colors and somehow make that idea into an artwork. My overall thoughts are I thought the warm colors painting turned out really well. I think it looks the neatest the other two could have been done better. I think this was a fun artwork and given more time I could have fixed some of the parts in it. but overall I used a couple technique so it was good practice.
I have a few ideas on my artwork. I wanna use a drawing similar to the one I drew then have the same llama in all of the seasons or just the same llama on different color backgrounds. One studio habit I used was envisioning the llama how I would place it in the four different seasons or how I can change the backgrounds to all match in some way. I also tried to develop craft with the llama finding a way to make it look more realistic and how to draw the furry effect that makes it pop more.
My artwork is a tall red barn with a green roof. It also has a black and white cow standing in front of it. with a blue sky and green grass. I used acrylic paints and all shapes and sizes of brushes. All my colors I created myself, mixing darks and lights. To create the clouds I painted the sky blue and as it was still wet put white over to add a transparency to the clouds. My big idea behind the artwork was to practice my observational art. I also wanted to represent something in my life I live on a farm so this is close to what I look at and see everyday. My goals were to try and use different techniques for example I have never painted clouds so it was new for me and I wanted to know how. My second goal was to make more colors and not just use solid colors in my first artwork I didn't mix much or try and add shadows or values so that was a goal of mine My overall thoughts are I think this turned out very good and I spent a lot of time on it. This artwork made me think more expand my ideas and and give me practice in many areas.
How does Roy Lichtenstein elevate a children’s book illustration to the level of high art in Look Mickey?
He makes the background more simple to make it more child like, but really uses details to bring out and make the main objects very realistic and higher quality art. How do Pop Artists use Appropriation in their art? using older, childish, decent art and making it more succesful and serious and giving it more meaning and looking more professional Why do some people believe that Warhol’s prediction “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes” has come true? With the media and so many platforms to become famous this can be true. I worked on observing more then usual really trying to point out the details. I also used skills I havne't used much like really using values and shadows to make the detailed drawing come to life. i also worked on using my time in the 3 minute drawings pointing out the most important parts in the little time to still make successful helpful mini drawings.
My artwork is a painting of a vase that has two llamas on it it has two handles and a heart separating the two llamas. It is called a Terracotta value-krater. I used different brown and red acrylic paint. I would add more color to darken or lighten certain areas to create shadows and texture instead of just having plain colors. I got inspired to do this artwork simply by looking at famous artworks and seeing how i could incorporate llamas because I had the idea of having llamas in my artwork. I know I can't draw very detailed art so I needed a artwork that I could use a silhouette or more simple drawing of a llama. My goal was to be able to add tones and shadows and just better my art skills as shown I didn't exactly reach my goal and it's not my best work but i learned something and you gotta start somewhere. In the future right off the bat I will try and include many shades of one color to add more tone instead of waiting until the end. Overall I do think my artwork can be successful I worked on some new skills and it was my first artwork I have done in years. i noticed in the warm up video that he used some sort of transparent paper, an air brush, black and white pens to make it more realistic. techniques he used was adding shadows and colors to make the shapes pop. My idea for stakeout would be an old phone or device to see if someone would pick it up maybe have a phone number attached to see if someone would call or just take the device. I think most people would wanna return it but it would be funny to watch if anyone just grabbed it and went on. I think some people would maybe look around confused or try and be sneaky about bringing it home. This art is different then normal observational art because it's like a experiment a real life situation that depending on the results is how you will make the art.
This is my daily observational drawing a cat shaped eraser not my best work but it helps me practice. This is where I am at on my artist steal artwork. I worked on observing the original picture and how I could get the colors to match up pretty well and how I can make these colors when testing out the matierals. I also worked on developing craft because I tried out different kinds of brushes and adding different kinds of greys to the background to add texture. Richard Prince, cariou V. Prince is the worst one it almost downgrades the imagine it is a poorly done parody almost making fun of the artwork and disrespecting it. Jeff Koons, Blanch vs. Koons I think is the best the person changed it up enough to make it their own and honored the first work almost making t better it could have more meaning with the different skin tones and it is done very nicely.
